New Mapuche Political Prisoner starts hunger strike in Chile

Public Statement

To my Mapuche brothers, and the general public I inform the following:

My name is Fernando Millacheo Marín, I belong to the community of Chequenco, in the commune of Ercilla, and as of today December 24 I started a liquid hunger strike indefinitely, as a way to denounce and demand the following:

1. - I am completely innocent of the charges against me.

2. - I demand a fair trial and due process, where they also accelerate the procedures and allow me the right to defense.

3. - I join the just demand for the freedom of all Mapuche political prisoners.
