PUBLIC STATEMENT No. 5 BY FERNANDO MILLACHEO MARIN, Mapuche political prisoner from the prison of Concepción, Chile 09/03/13

To my brothers Mapuche, to the Human Rights Organizations, and the general public from the criminal Hospital El Manzano, Concepción, of the Region of Bío-Bío, I inform you the following:

1. I demand the transfer to the prison of Angol as soon as possible because the distance makes it difficult for my family to visit and produces huge expenses.
2. - I am completely innocent of the charges against me.
3. - I demand a fair trial, due process, to speed up the procedures and to allow me the right to defense.
4. - I request a change of the precautionary measures.
5. - I join the just demand for freedom of all Mapuche political prisoners.
